I like the idea of being free; but maybe we should have a very mild ammount of cash involved with the purchase. This is for the soul perpose of the fact that we need money for buying Game Engines and Scripting apps. I don't think we should make a game for over $15 dollars. It's small; but more than we may need per customer.

Dev groups would be a nice idea, but it's key to only have one game going at a time. Say there's group 1, group 2, group 3, group 4.

group 1: Creates a game project, sends it to group 2.
group 2: Edits the game project, sends it to group 3.
group 1: Decides the game project needs more work, edits it. WHILE group 3: Edits the game project, sends it to group 4.
We now have a game project from group 1, and a game project being sent to group 4.
group 4: Recieves the game project. WHILE group 1: Tries to catch up, and sends the game project to group 4.
You can't just mash together two samples of one game. You've gotta interweave each and every thread, aligning it up.

In otherwords, dev groups would have to know exactly when to edit and to whom to send to, the game project.

Overall, the idea sounds great!
